Let's Get This!

Several weeks ago my man Joe McIntyre gave me one more reason to love him as he decided to use his influence via social media to start his very own foundation.
He made an announcement on twitter, and shortly after wrote a blog for nkotb.com giving a link to his new website. http://letsgetthis.org
The foundation doesn't have a set goal, or even a specific cause. The idea is that every individual person has the ability to make a difference in this world...and if we all work together, we can make an even bigger difference. The foundation is all about "Helping the World Step by Step". (a little corny- but still awesome!)
The first project of the foundation has been a book drive to benefit under privileged children. Joe asked everyone attending a NKOTB Full Service Summer Tour date to bring a new book to donate, in exchange for a free download of his new song 5 Brothers and a Million Sisters. The response has been overwhelming...

The 15,000+ books does not even include the online contributions that have been made via the link on letsgetthis.org

I am very happy to have been a part of this effort. Anyone who knows me, knows that I live to see children learn and grow. Helping to give more children that opportunity fills my heart with joy. However- we still have not done enough! I'm not going to any more shows this summer, so I can't donate any books by hand, but I can ask everyone who reads this blog to help me out!
